RETURNS Returns will be considered within 14 days from purchase. All returns must be pre-approved. If you need to return an item for an exchange, refund or store credit please contact us with a description of the problem and your order number. To be eligible for a return, your product must be unused, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it, including the original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable. When returning an item from an order that qualified for complimentary shipping, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you want to return for refund or store credit, you pay the shipping. If you want to exchange you pay the shipping both ways. We suggest purchasing insurance as Gentle Nest will not be held responsible for packages lost in the mail. You will receive an exchange, refund or store credit after the return item is received, inspected (see exceptions below) and approved. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee which will be deducted from refunds. Restocking fees will be waived if you request a store credit over a refund. If your return is a result of our error we will pay shipping both ways.
RETURN EXCEPTIONS The following items cannot be returned for any reason. This list includes but is not limited to: personal care products (cloth diapers, menstrual care, nursing pads, skin care, body care), baby bottles, pacifiers, teething aids, baby carriers, laundry (lanolin, washes, detergents), gift cards, store credit, pre-order, special order, clearance, final sale items, items which had packaging or tags removed for letter shipping and any item that can not be sold in new condition (in the same condition that you received it - unopened, unused, unwashed, free of stains/odours/pet hair, original packaging/tags intact).
CANCELLED ORDERS Please make sure your order is correct before you submitting. We process orders very quickly. Once we have started processing your order all unwanted merchandise will be treated as a return. Once an order has been placed we are unable to edit your order. Please contact us right away and we will do our best to assist you. Cancelled orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee which will be waived if you request a store credit over a refund.
WARRANTY Most manufacturer's prefer to handle warranty issues directly with the customer. We are happy to assist you through the process if you have difficulties getting in touch with the manufacturer. Warranties only apply to the original purchaser with receipt. We are happy to re-send your e-receipt if needed.
